I got my very first opportunity to get into the photographic industry in 1993 with Olan Mills. Before that I was just another young person that loved shooting images with no real market to showcase them. Once my friend and manager recognized my artistic eye and clean technical skill, he started to instruct me about people, and how good customer service is accomplished.

In 1998, I shot my first wedding in Green Bay, WI. I still remember it – Scottish themed, kilts, bagpipes – the whole nine yards! It was fantastic. I was hooked after that and knew for sure I had found something I could excel in that also offered me a continuous challenge. It is my honor to give people something that was more than a service – my ability to commemorate some of the most important days and events in their lives.

People… These faces are the reason I love photography, why I love getting kids to giggle at the silliest things, why I never think that capturing any image is too hard or too challenging. This recording of emotion of your event is why photography will always be a large part of my life.
